Advanced Imaging Point - The House of Imaging - is a radiologist-led diagnostic centre in Ramdaspeth, at the heart of Nagpur. Since 1989, patients and their doctors have brought us their hardest questions; our work is turning imaging into answers they can act on.

02 · The visionary behind the practice
Dr. R. R. Khandelwal
Chief Consultant Radiologist and Founder - the vision that has guided Advanced Imaging Point since November 1989.
A highly respected name in radiology across the region, Dr. Khandelwal is known as an astute ultrasonologist, an inspiring mentor and a dynamic medical leader. He has held prominent positions in professional organisations including the Indian Medical Association and the Academy of Medical Sciences, and his journey has been shaped by advanced learning in Mumbai and at Thomas Jefferson University, USA.
His greatest contribution has been translating knowledge, experience and technology into meaningful diagnostic services - with a constant emphasis on advanced equipment, updated clinical practice and a strong professional team. Under his guidance the centre has also conducted CPS training programmes for several years, helping nurture the next generation of medical professionals.
From the beginning, the aim has been excellent diagnostic services that remain accessible to patients from every section of society.

A practice begins
Dr. R. R. Khandelwal founds Advanced Imaging Point in November 1989 - a focused ultrasound and X-ray centre, built around careful imaging and careful reporting.

MRI arrives
MRI services are introduced - a milestone on the road to a complete imaging destination, and the start of continuous investment in modern platforms.
